24” x 20”, acrylic, ink and resin on canvas. Painted in Mexico, resin and stretched in my Canadian studio. This one was created during the rainy season when there’s carnage everywhere and you drive up a gnarly road to get to your studio, slipping all over the place and having to get out and just walk. It’s a beautiful and messy experience that I’m glad to have, because those storms create the most incredible tropical sunsets, and they make the jungle sing.
